Energetické využití čajové sedliny

Abstract

Master thesis deals with the energy processing of tea waste, which is generated by the primary use in the production of various types of beverages. The input materials for research and processing into pellet form are tea grounds, leaves and fruits from the sources of the largest production of this waste. Subsequently, a part of the pellets was torrefied to improve energy parameters. The properties were measured on individual pellet samples according to the standard CSN EN ISO 17225-6. At the end of the thesis, together with a comparison of the properties of the pellets determined by the standard, there is also a calculation of the energy balance of the processing, the annual production of tea waste in individual sources and a structural design of a sieve for a hammer crusher for crushing the input material.
