Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with an engineering design of a rear springing fork on the Jawa 350/634 motorcycle. The introduction of the thesis provides a review of the commonly wholesale produced springing forks and the ways of their attachment to the frame. Further there is an analysis of the engineering design of fork on the Jawa 350/634 motorcycle and a concept of a new design is drawn up. Calculation part of thesis is dedicated to the forces to which the fork is exposed and the resulting reaction of the bearings Calculation part of thesis deals with force parsing, which fork is exposed to and the resulting reaction to bearings. On the basis of this analysis a new springing fork is dimensioned. Strenght calculation of the devised design is carried out by the finite element method. Next, strenght calculations of the bearings and tenon are performed and a new rosette is designed and checked. Replaceable rosette wreath is checked by the finite element method. The design drawing of the complete fork assembly and the working drawing of the replaceable rosette wreath are included.
