The bachelor thesis deals with methods of finding the minimum and maximum of a function of one variable (quadratic interpolation method, golden ratio method, Fibonacci method). The introduction explains the basic concepts. Then the program modules for their application will be compiled, the user application in which the function will be entered, will evaluate the results of the methods, and enable the visualization of the selected method, the application will be implemented in the MATLAB - App Designer environment. The output of the bachelor thesis is a user application for solving optimization problems with the possibility of their optimization.
