Robotizace zpracování odpadu na Ostravsku

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the robotization of waste processing with a focus on the Ostrava region. The introductory part provides a review of the current state of waste management in the region, including an analysis of waste production and structure, and a description of fundamental facilities for its processing. Furthermore, the thesis maps technological progress in automation, ranging from intelligent sorting robots utilizing artificial intelligence to the deployment of drones for monitoring environmental risks at landfills. In the subsequent stage, an evaluation is carried out assessing the usability of manipulative, mobile, and aerial systems across various segments of the waste chain. The final section formulates proposals for local operations, outlining a path toward more efficient material and biological waste recovery.
