Abstract
This thesis analyzes the knee passive motion splint. The theoretical part describes different types of splint and their use. The practical part describes the knee splint, which is used for rehabilitation of patients in the Trauma Center at the University Hospital of Ostrava. The practical part is divided into two parts. First part is the analysis of kinematics for two settings of splint corresponding to the maximum and minimum size of the patient's limb. The second part, dynamic analysis, is performed for the variant corresponding to the maximum size of the limb, because it is linked with maximum load. The results of the kinematics and dynamics are plotted in graphs and in tables, depending on the parameter. In conclusion of the thesis there is also shown possible using of the results for stress analysis of part of the splint and new the proposal design of the splint.
