Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a five-axis positioner for robotic welding workplace. The first chapter of the thesis analyses the current state of the problem, which is divided into robotic welding workplaces and positioners. The result of the analysis is the knowledge concerning the design of the same types of positioners of other manufacturers. In the second chapter of the thesis a requirement sheet is created. In the third chapter of the thesis, three design options are presented and one of these options is selected using a multi-criteria analysis of options based on five criteria. In the fourth chapter, a detailed description of the whole design is made and it is divided into three parts. After the complete description, the parameters of the positioner are summarized in a table, a load diagram is included, safety is briefly described and the cost of the positioner is estimated. The result of the work is a complete design of a five-axis positioner for a robotic welding workstation. The work is supplemented with the necessary calculations and drawings.
