Návrh a optimalizace držáku předního brzdiče pro závodní motocykl

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design and optimization of a front brake caliper bracket for the Blata Ultima racing motorcycle with the aim of reducing its weight while maintaining the required strength and stiffness of the structure. The theoretical part summarizes braking systems, principles of topology optimization, and additive manufacturing technologies with a focus on the Selective Laser Melting (SLM) process. The practical part includes an analysis of the original bracket, its digitalization using 3D scanning, CAD model creation, and finite element analysis. Based on the obtained results, an optimized bracket design was developed using Altair Inspire software. The component was subsequently manufactured from metallic material using the SLM technology and subjected to post-processing and inspection by 3D scanning.
