Abstract

The topic of master thesis is the connection of two scraper conveyors working in an underground mine. From several variants was chosen connection by pins. In the first part is calculated required width of the transport channel of armoured face conveyor. Next is chosen drive station and the chain is checked to breaking, because it is the most stressed part of scraper conveyors. At engineering design of pin joint are chosen materials with higher tensile strength and wear resistant materials. Before the proposal of joint pin is calculated and plotted throw parabola. It is used to determine the ideal height of dune and also affects height of joint pin. At the end are determined and calculated all the powers that the pin joint in operating condition has. For these forces are designed and checked pins, ribs and welds.
