Abstract
The master’s thesis deal with the determination of the dynamic stiffness of the plastic of the plastic parts of the engine air intake. There is discusses the theoretical basics and a specific methodology for the experimental measurement of dynamic stiffness.
Experimental measurement of the frequency response functionh using an impact hammer, this methodology is validated on the sled motor supplied by Mann+Hummel. According to the specifications of the Mann+Hummel, there was solved undamped oscilation of a mechanical system with one degree of freedom. For this case in the spreadsheet solver Microsoft Office Excel was programmed algorithm to calculate required quantities.
System was extended to include damping and there was suggested solution by using three point method.
