Abstract
The thesis deals with construction design of a stairclimber. The introduction
explains the concept of a stairclimber. Also, there is a summary of currently
available types of stairclimbers. The thesis gives three conceptually different
variation of stairclimber solutions, which is then selected by value analysis to the
optimal variations. The rest of the thesis describes in detail the construction of
whole stairclimber, sensory and directional subsystem devices. The thesis is
supported by drawing documentation, model and also necesary calculations.
